BRAHMS' GERMAN REQUIEM

14th May 2016 - St Deny's Church, Northmoor

15th May 2016 - St Mary The Virgin Church, Witney

In May 2016 we marked the society's 25th Anniversary year with a particularly challenging piece, which really stretched us.  Our soloists were baritone Quentin Hayes and soprano Anna Shackleton, with pianists Michael Pandya and Keval Shah.

The Saturday concert was followed by a reception, attended by many past members and conductors, and included members from our sister choir in France who had come especially to celebrate with us.

MOZART REQUIEM AND VIVALDI GLORIA

15th November 2015 - St Mary The Virgin Church, Witney

On November 15th 2015 we enjoyed a marvellous opportunity to sing

Mozart`s Requiem and Vivaldi`s Gloria at St Mary`s Church, Witney.
Our four soloists included  soprano Anna Shackleton, alto Sacha Fullerton,
tenor Deryck Webb and baritone Quentin Hayes. Terry McNamara conducted
us along with organist Francis Rumsey and an 8 piece orchestra.  It was a joy to
sing to such an attentive audience in the packed church.

The afternoon included a surprise visit from some of our sister choir from France,
who had left home at 5 a.m. to be with us!
